Some people are even buying study books or taking expensive preparatory classes. Although these books and classes can be helpful for some students, they are not the only way to do well on these important exams. There are many ways that you can get free SAT prep online that can help you just as much as those classes and books. Here are three ways to get started:

A lot of the time, the best way to prepare for the SAT is to take the SAT. Luckily, there are a ton of websites that offer full-length practice exams online as well as certain sections of the exam. This form of free SAT prep online can help you become familiar with the kind of material that comes up on the test, leaving you to feel more confident and knowledgable leading up to the real exam. The scores that you receive on these exams can also be a good indicator of how much work you still need to do in order to get the score you want.

Worried about not having enough time for SAT prep? Many of the above-listed sites also offer mobile apps so you can keep studying on-the-go. These apps make it easy.

If you would rather keep your SAT prep off your phone, there are also many websites that you can get your question of the day from. Kaplan and Varsity Tutors are both great examples of these sites. In addition to the question of the day, Kaplan also offers SAT turbo tests, which are shortened versions of the SAT, and Varsity Tutors offers flashcards, subject tests, and a feature where you can create your own test!
